'A work of art is the unique product of a unique temperament. Its beauty is that its author is what he is.  In any case what others want. In fact, once an artist becomes aware of what others want to apply and meet them, it ceases to be an artist. He became a craftsman, dull or amusing, a trader, honest or dishonest, he can no longer claim to be an artist.  Art is the expression of the intense individualism that the world has ever known, and I tend to say the only one.
